father's day weekend!

friday night we went swimming, playing with the puppy, and fireworks at the new ballpark downtown. we, of course, ended the evening with a phenominal episode of friday night lights!



saturday was a heat advisory day so we went to pete and kathie's pool and then came home and played on the front porch. that evening, we met mike and patty at charleston's on brookside for father's day dinner.







on sunday (yay father's day) we all loaded up and headed to see grandfather wizard and papa over at aunt bo's. they made chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans.






that evening, we picked up some to-go food from el rio verde and took it to abuelo. dillan got him some mint and double fudge milanos. yum yum.


needless to say, dillan was exhausted after all of our father's day activity. she cuddled up with her dora book and called it a night!
