mid-july stormy evening

friday night a huge storm rolled through tulsa. we went out in the front yard and watched. i tried to take a few photos and familiarize myself with my new app, hipstamatic.






after the storm watching, and playing in the warm summer rain, we headed in for a nice bath. again, i tried to work with hipstamatic photo app.

dillan and i drove to see daddy teach his first class at fieldhouse, a new gym in owasso.

saturday afternoon we drove up to brad and michelle's house on lake tenkiller. we waited for the rain to pass and then took the boat out on the lake. the kiddos loved it! we rode the wave runner, water skied, and went swimming. brad and michelle's son, christopher, is 3 months younger than dillan, and they love eachother. they watched yo gabba gabba together, danced on the coffee table, rode the jeep around, and ate hot dogs. dillan is becoming quite the lake baby.

holiday pontooning

fourth of july fun continued into the fifth of july! tay tay and abuelo rented a pontoon boat for us all to enjoy on lake fort gibson. tay tay packed a great picnic lunch of chicken salad, tuna salad, chocolate milk, apple juice, fresh fruit, chips and bean dip, and eclairs! we had a great time. thank you very much, steve and jane!! i feel like we're really getting this lake thing down..

happiest july 2nd birthday poppy!

beau, dillan, and i met nanny, poppy, and my nan and papa at savastano's for some birthday celebration. we visited, ate salad and pizza, and watched dillan enjoy some magic tricks a la poppy.
